Elementor 3.5: Create Innovative Websites, Faster and With Ease

Elementor 3.5: Create Innovative Websites, Faster and With Ease

Elementor 3.5 improves your workflow while also adding new design capabilities. This allows you to create websites even faster while still ensuring they are brilliantly designed, interactive, and highly engaging.

Web designers are constantly looking for ways to work more efficiently and create innovative designs which keep their users engaged. Elementor 3.5 includes three new workflow capabilities that help you cut substantial time off your creation process, including Mark Widgets as Favorites, Drag from Desktop, and Multi-Select, to help you accelerate your project turnaround time.

Elementor 3.5 also includes new design features that allow you to create highly advanced websites within Elementor while reducing the number of add-ons and custom code required to achieve the same enhanced appearances, such as  Word Spacing, Transform Text Stroke.

In addition to the existing workflow and design capabilities, the Experiments UI has been updated to make it easier for you to understand the solidity of each experiment, as well as a new experiment for improving the performance of your website — Inline Font Icons.

Faster Website Creation Process

Mark Widgets As Favorites: Personalize Your Editor Panel

You've probably noticed that as you build with Elementor, you tend to lean toward some widgets and end up using them more frequently than others. You can personalize the Editor Panel and find your favorite widgets faster by pinning your most used widgets to the 'Favorites' section.

Drag From Desktop: Bring Media and Template Files Directly Into the Editor

It's never been easier to add media and template files (.json) to your Editor. With this update, you can drag one or more media or template files directly into your Editor.

Media files can be dragged into an existing widget on the page (image, video, or GIF), or they can be dragged into the editor, which will automatically add the corresponding widget. Drag-and-drop media files into your Editor will be added to the Media Library, while template files (.json) will be added to your template library.

Multi-Select: Impact Several Elements at Once

Similar to how CTRL/CMD on your desktop allows you to select multiple items at once, you can now do the same with sections, columns, or widgets in your editor or navigator. You can copy, delete, duplicate, paste, paste style, and reset style on multiple items at once by using Multi-Select.

Enhanced Design Capabilities

Transform: Increase Interactivity With Unique and Animated Designs

Brainstorming, adjusting and animating elements distinguishes your website and increases user engagement and enthusiasm. As a result, you will be able to increase the amount of time users spend on each page as well as the number of pages they visit.

You can use Transform to access all of CSS Transform's features without having to write any code. Rotate, skew, offset, scale, or flip elements on your page in their normal state or when hovering. You can, for example, rotate an image by 45° so that it appears slanted rather than upright in its normal state. Alternatively, you can keep the image upright in its normal state and have it transform by 45° when hovering, making it animated and slanted. Try combining Transform with Motion Effects to create more advanced animated designs.

Text Stroke: Make Your Headings Pop

Headings that pop capture your users' attention and direct them to specific areas of your page. To increase your design flexibility, headings now have a new control — Text Stroke — that allows you to outline them.

You can also use this control to create transparent headings with just an outline to create stunning visual effects where the letters appear to be cut out and the background can be seen through them. To get this look, set the headline color to transparent and use a Text Stroke of a different color than your background to make it stand out.

Word Spacing: Optimize Your Users’ Reading Experience
Adjusting the space between words can improve your users' optical experience and help you connect with your audience more effectively. You now have greater control over the distance between one word and another with the new Word Spacing control, which is available in any textual widget, just like the letter spacing control. This allows you to further customize the appearance of your website and use more fonts.

Experiments Updates

New Experiments UI: More Confidence To Enable Experiments

The Experiments user interface has been redesigned to improve experiment visibility and stability. Experiments are divided into two sections: the top half contains alpha and beta experiments, while the bottom section contains more stable experiments. Furthermore, to facilitate troubleshooting, you can enable or disable all experiments with a single click.

Inline Font Icons: Faster Page Load
Inline Font Icons are now supported in the inline SVG experiment as part of the commitment to continuously improve performance so that your website loads quickly. When the experiment is enabled, the size of CSS and Woff on each page load is reduced by up to 111KB, resulting in a faster page load.

Design or Workflow… Why not Both?
Elementor 3.5 is jam-packed with significant improvements that streamline your workflow, allowing you to significantly reduce the time it takes to create your websites.

This update also includes new design capabilities, allowing you to create captivating, one-of-a-kind, and fabulous websites that keep your users engaged and encourage them to return.
