10 Great Tools for Affiliate Marketers

10 Great Tools for Affiliate Marketers

Affiliate marketing can be an excellent source of new leads and traffic if you know how to get started with it effectively. Fortunately, there are lots of free or low-cost tools you can use to help your affiliate marketing business grow. Check out this list of ten great tools for affiliate marketers so you can get the most out of your efforts in no time!

1) Ahrefs

This SEO and social media tool helps you monitor competitors’ rankings, traffic, keyword ranking, and more. What I love about Ahrefs is its user-friendly interface; it’s very easy to navigate and provides a wealth of information in one place. The basic plan is free, but there are more robust options if you have a larger budget. This tool will help you drive more organic traffic to your site through smarter link-building tactics.

Ahrefs alternatives that are equally better include:

Serpstat

Semrush

Mangools KWFinder

2) SEMrush

After you have found a profitable niche and have gotten a website started, it’s time to begin driving traffic to your site. To do that, you need to get in front of people who are looking for what you offer. SEMrush is a great tool for doing just that. It’s what we use here at Authority Hacker to understand how our articles resonate with people.

3) Buzzsumo

Buzzsumo is my favorite tool in all of affiliate marketing. As someone who writes a lot of content, I rely on Buzzsumo to find trending topics that are relevant to my niche and audience. You can use it to see what’s trending, which informs your decision about what content you’re going to create. It also gives you data about how many shares something has on social media. If people aren’t sharing something related to your niche, then it might not be as relevant.

4) Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a very useful tool for tracking your website’s visitors and figuring out how to best convert them into leads. Not only does it tell you what your visitors are doing on your site (as in, where they’re clicking, which pages they visited, etc.), but it also gives you information about where they came from (so you can try to draw more of those types of people to your site), how long they stayed on your site and what links they clicked while there.

5) TubeBuddy

TubeBuddy is one of my favorite tools because it can help you easily monitor your affiliate marketing efforts by tracking your social media stats and letting you know what kind of impact your YouTube channel is having on YouTube rankings. You can also use it to find out if any of your social media efforts are paying off in terms of traffic and leads. In addition, TubeBuddy offers a number of other useful features such as SEO analysis, detailed analytics reports, keyword research and so much more.

6) Moz

Moz is a powerful suite of SEO tools that will help you grow your traffic and leads. From keyword research to link building, Moz has everything you need to succeed online. You can even monitor SEO progress with Moz’s ranking tracker tool. Cost: $99/month (or $999/year) – Visit Moz Website Now

7) Pinterest Analytics

Pinterest is a fantastic place to find inspiration and gather content ideas. But if you want to use Pinterest as an affiliate marketer, you’ll want to get access to Pinterest Analytics. This tool helps you analyze your performance on Pinterest – see which of your pins have been clicked on and how many times they’ve been repinned or shared. Plus, it gives detailed analytics about your audience – including demographics, interests, and behavioral patterns. You can learn more here. The main benefit of using Pinterest Analytics? Your content will improve over time because you’ll be targeting audiences most likely to buy from you. As a result, your traffic and earnings will increase (as well). It’s really that simple!

8) Grammarly

Grammarly’s name does exactly what it sounds like: it corrects grammar. This browser plugin lets you write without worrying about silly mistakes that could alienate potential customers or damage your credibility. Grammarly looks at more than just spelling and punctuation; it also identifies incorrect word usage, style issues, and even grammatical voice! Click on a word to see its definition as well as Grammarly’s suggestions on how to use it correctly. The site includes tutorials and other resources such as their How-To section where you can learn about topics such as backlinks, tone of voice, audience analysis, persuasive writing techniques and more. The tools are free but there is a premium option with additional features if needed. Also make sure to review Grammarly’s self assessment program (below) to make sure you have mastered your writing skills before launching an affiliate marketing campaign.

9) Canva (my favorite!)

While PicMonkey and Canva are similar in some ways, Canva has a much more user-friendly interface. I love using it to create graphics that I can share on Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter. The drag-and-drop editor makes it super easy to use without any design experience required. Best of all? It’s 100% free!(Tip: Make sure you have an account connected to your social media accounts!)

10) Google Keyword Planner

This free tool can help you with search volume and cost-per-click estimates. Use it to make sure your keywords aren’t too competitive, or if you’re considering adding new ones to your arsenal. Enter a keyword, select Google as your network, and compare it against others. Then play around with different combinations until you find something unique that works well for what you do or sell. Try plugging in only one modifier (like best) instead of two, which is more common. You might be surprised at how low these long-tail keywords are going; Keyword Planner is a great way to experiment with them before diving into a paid account for tools like The Software Company's Keyword Tool. As always, test out various combinations on an ad that receives a decent amount of impressions over time before making any final decisions about your campaign.
